NATURAL...HOMEMADE...Beauty Secrets!

  • Cindy Crawford skin care secrets include keeping her famous face moisturized by mixing equal parts of whole (full fat) milk and mineral water. She keeps this concoction in a spray bottle and sprays her face several times throughout the day for extra moisture.
This is a great tip to use during winter months -- when our skin feels extra tight and dry.
  • Jennifer Love Hewitt helps get rid of pimples and blemishes by applying a dab of toothpaste to the zit and let it sit overnight.
  • Daisy Fuentes has a quick weight loss trick of drinking one liter of chamomile tea and one liter of water daily-- the combination accelerates fat burning!
  • Catherine Zeta-Jones rubs a small amount of castor oil to keep her hair shiny. She also keeps her teeth shiny and white by using a bi-weekly homemade tooth paste. She mashes up strawberries and mixes it with a small amount of baking soda. Strawberries are a natural whitener as is baking soda.
  • Michelle Yeoh rinses her face with lemon juice and water. This helps to tighten pores and even skin tone. Applying lemon juice to a cotton ball can help reduce skin spots and it’s great for the oily T-zone area.
  • Nicole Kidman rinses her hair with cranberry juice to help maintain the beautiful red color.
  • Julia Roberts soaks her nails in olive oil and warm water to keep them in shape.
  • Susan Lucci snacks on sardines because their omega-3 fatty acids are essential for smooth skin.

August 08, 2010 was our 7th Wedding Anniversary.  We wanted to go where we met and fell in love, which is downtown San Diego.  When we were first married, we lived in a loft condo in downtown and absolutely loved living there.  There is a nice vibe that you feel when coming off of the 163 West and entering the downtown area.  We also decided to go to Seaport Village.  This is a quaint tourist area, where you always find something different and interesting.  While we were there, we came across a mime who called herself "The Living Music Box." She was miming to the Titanic soundtrack, with the Pacific Ocean in the background, it was amazing.  If you ever get a chance to stop by Seaport Village in San Diego, California watch for her it's a memorable experience. ~April
