Exotic Florals paired with freshly bloomed Gardenias. I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. I have SPRING FLING on my night stand right now. I apply this moisturizing Shea Butter Cream to my neck (don't forget the neck) and face every night, hoping to drift away to lush tropical islands. SHEA CHIC checking in!

A lot has happened within the first quarter of 2012. SHEA CHIC was featured at the American Music Awards Celebrity Gifting Suite, Golden Globes Gifting Suite and now the Oscars Celebrity Gifting Lounge. How in the world are we going to out do this? Since returning from the Oscars, we've had a lot of celebrities contact us, telling us that they LOVE our SHEA CHIC products and want to continue to work with us. Whether it be an endorsement deal, private label, or simply sharing their love for SHEA CHIC. We've got hours of video footage and hundreds of pictures of these celebs proclaiming their love and loyalty for our products. You can find those video's on our SHEA CHIC Youtube page, called SHEACHICTV. I will begin loading the celebrity testimonials as time permits. You're not going to believe who we've got videos on! :) You're probably wondering, where do we make SHEA CHIC? We're still in our humble, renovated $20,000 garage.  Believe it or not, we haven't really had the time to properly move into our new renovated shop. From the moment of our shop's completion, we were sprinting to finish the next big order. Now, that the Oscars are over I'm actually enjoying the calm quietness of the shop and finally able to start organizing, but I have a feeling this quiet won't last for long. As always we have some exciting news coming for Mother's Day and I just signed our first contract with Hilton in San Diego. I'm still dealing with the back and hip pain on a daily basis, but I just believe that it's going to be a part of my life's story. I will continue to work as hard as I can, and with your love and support... let's see where this journey takes us! :)

New SHEA CHIC Shop!

2011 was a wonderful year of growth and opportunity for SHEA CHIC. After looking at our business plan and quickly outgrowing our shop, we've decided that we're ready for a big expansion. January 15, 2012 - January 22, 2012 SHEA CHIC will be moving to a space twice as large as our current shop. I'm so excited. We've painted and put ten of the fourteen new cabinets together, but this job needs a professional. So, we've hired REMCON DESIGN BUILD to help install our cabinets and make sure the shop it completely ready by Monday, January 23, 2012.  Ask for John, he's really nice and has that great east coast accent.  Hopefully you get Ron their installer. He's knowledgable, and precise with his work. I also noticed that he takes the time to cover and protect my cabinets, which scored big points with me.

I'm excited to see how everything looks and will post pictures of the final shop. SHEA CHIC will be up and running by January 22, 2012, which is when SanDiego6 T.V. station is scheduled to begin filming their new T.V. segments, covering local San Diego small businesses and SHEA CHIC will be their first story.   ~April

2012 is looking to be pretty fantastic! SHEA CHIC has been asked to be a part of the 2012 Golden Globes Talent Lounge in Hollywood, California on Saturday, January 14, 2012! Looking back at 2011

‎2011 has been an incredible year for SHEA CHIC. We've been to the EMMY's, the American Music Awards, The Bangor Daily News (2x), The Kansas City Star, The San Diego Union Tribune (3x), featured in the Ranch & Coast Magazine (December), on KUSI T.V. (2x), San Diego6 T.V., and CBS!!! Wow, the fact that I have to hope I haven't forgotten one is incredible in itself. You can now buy SHEA CHIC on both the East Coast (New York) and the West Coast. We've expanded our shop twice and was the feature Artisan at the exclusive Fairbanks Ranch in Rancho Santa Fe, California, for their Holiday Boutique. Most importantly, you've been by my side supporting me the entire time. Thank You! There are still a lot of goals to be met. I still haven't gotten SHEA CHIC into Katy Perry's pretty little hands, I want SHEA CHIC to be sold at the San Diego Airport, and I want SHEA CHIC to be featured in the San Diego Magazine. Those are three of my goals for 2012. Thank you for being a part of my little dream and cheers to a great 2012! xo April

What a whirlwind of a December... with a SHEA CHIC Media Blitz!

If you would have told me, the girl who every time I talk in front of an audience pictures myself, screaming a big girly scream then running straight out of the room directly to my car and speeding out of the parking lot, was going to be on two local San Diego T.V. Stations within one week, I would have laughed and said you're funny....but I like the way you think!

By the grace of God,  I was asked to showcase my SHEA CHIC products in the studio (seriously) and have a SHEA CHIC segment on SanDiego6 the CW and San Diego's CBS station.  I've got to tell you that overcoming the fight or flight syndrome, has been quite a challenge, but just the fact that I didn't pass out or run directly out of the studio deserves a serious spa day. :)
